How to change your name in Free Fire
- Pick and copy your name on this page: tap "Copy" on the style you like best.
- Open your profile in Free Fire: tap your avatar at the top left of the lobby.
- Tap the edit icon (the pencil or notepad) next to your name.
- Delete your old name and paste the new one by pressing and holding the text box.
- Confirm the change. A rename usually costs a Rename Card or diamonds, and the game shows the price before you confirm.
Why Free Fire doesn't accept spaces
Free Fire usually rejects the normal space from your keyboard, so a name like "King FF" can't be saved as it is. The trick is an invisible space: the Korean character Hangul Filler (U+3164), which looks like a gap but counts as a letter for the game. This page does it for you: every space you type becomes that invisible character in every name you copy.
The 12-character limit
A Free Fire name usually allows up to 12 characters, and symbols and invisible spaces count too. The counter on each name (for example 8/12) shows its length and turns red when it's too long. Some fancy letters like 𝓐𝓑𝓒 may count as two for the game: if it won't save, remove a symbol or pick a style with normal letters.
If a symbol shows as a box or the name is taken
- If you see ▯ or a question mark, your phone or other players' phones don't have that symbol. Try another decoration: ꧁ ꧂, 亗, ツ and ★ show up on almost every phone.
- If the game says the name is already taken, another player has it. Add a symbol, try another decoration or change one letter.
- If it says the name is invalid, it's usually because of an emoji, a normal space or a word the filter blocks.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
- How do I put a space in my Free Fire name?
Use an invisible space, because Free Fire usually rejects the normal one. On this page you don't need to do anything: type your name with spaces, and every name you copy already has the invisible Hangul Filler character (U+3164) in their place. - How many characters can a Free Fire name have?
Usually 12, counting letters, symbols and invisible spaces. Each name on this page shows its length (for example 9/12) and turns red when it goes over. If the game still refuses a name that fits, remove a symbol: some fancy letters count as two. - Which symbols work in Free Fire?
The Unicode symbols on this page, like ꧁ ꧂, 亗, ツ, ☬, ★, 彡 or 乂, which show up on almost every phone. Emojis don't: Free Fire usually rejects them when you save your name. - Can I get banned for using symbols in my name?
There are no known bans for using Unicode letters or symbols in a Free Fire name: they are text characters like any other. What does get players in trouble is an offensive name, which others can report. - How do I write my name in small or fancy letters?
Type your name above: several styles on this page already use letters like ᴀʙᴄ, 𝐀𝐁𝐂 or 𝓐𝓑𝓒. Some of these letters may count as two characters in the game, and some phones show them as boxes. If that happens, pick a style with normal letters and only symbols around them. -
Where can I use these Free Fire name styles?

Are these fonts free to use?
